I learned the Programmers' Dvorak Keyboard Layout, but have decided not to use it because it does not have all the charecters that I need. To name one off the top of my head, it is missing the caret, ^, charecter. So I have gone back to the normal Dvorak Keyboard.
Last night I took Suzie to Olive Garden, afterwards we took at walk around Temple Square. We sat down at the reflection pond and starting talking. I then knelt down and asked Suzie to be my Companion, Helpmeet, Queen, and Priestess. She almost cried, and said yes. Afterwards we went dancing.
Went to Inistute with Suzie today, because scouts was cancelled for today and next week. I really like her Inistute teacher.
Suzie started writing some simple programs yesturday. I think it is cool. She is having a lot of fun with it. I am excited about it.
Today was my first day inside my new window office at Interbank FX. Even thought I was not in it much, it still is nice to have.
"I can think of nothing less pleasurable than a life devoted to pleasure."
Took Suzie to Gold Stone to approve her ring before it went to get appraised and the inscription is added. Boy does that ring sparkel, even with very little light. She can't wait till I offical propose, so she can show it off to her girl friends.
Last night/this morning Suzie and I talked about why we love eachother. One thing we both said is how the other one makes us want to be better. She also mentioned that I am the only one that has done that for her.
Last night Suzie had dinner ready for me when I got home from work. She did a good job with making Sloppy Joes. Aftwards we went Country Swing Dancing at Studio 600.
The Bitterness of poor quality remains long after the sweetness of meeting the schedule has been forgotten.
I did a full fast on Sunday. I did not take it very well. Looking back when ever I did a full fast, I never took it well. My Grandma and mom was how bad it was, and figured that I am hypoglasemic. Apparently it runs in the family.
"In family discussions, differences should not be ignored, but should be weighed and evaluated calmly. One's point or opinion usually is not as important as a healthy, continuing relationship. Courtesy and respect in listening and responding during discussions are basic in proper dialogue... How important it is to know how to disagree with another's point of view without being disagreeable."
Thursday night Suzie and I went dancing at Studio 600. It was a blast, we learned some cool new movies. We we left we bought an "Advanced Lifts" DVD so we can learn more. I can't wait to go again.
Last night I wrote my letter for the Temple Clearance. My mom helped me with the flow of it. Suzie also had some helpful sugestions. It turned out very well.
Yesterday I meet with my Bishop to start the process for my Temple Clearance, paper work so I can be Sealed again. There are a lot of letters to be written.
Friday I was helping Tyler out at work, Interbank FX, and I installed the US Dvorak keyboard layout, because that is what I know how to type on. I told Tyler a little bit of the history of the Dvorak and Qwerty layouts. He started to like the idea. He mentioned if there was a programmer Dvorak he would do it. To my surprise over the weekend apparently Tyler did some googling. He found a site with a Programmers' Dvorak. He also found this site to compair different layouts: http://www.siteuri.ro/dvorak/.
It is better to set one simple goal and acheive it then to set many big goals and fail.
The following prayer was actually spoken before the Kansas State Legislators recently. It might be a good idea if the pastor were elected to the State legislature. When Pastor Joe Wright was asked to open the new session of the Kansas Senate, everyone was expecting the usual politically correct generalities. But what they heard instead was a stirring prayer, passionately calling our country to repentance & righteousness. The response was immediate & a number of legislators walked out during the prayer.
