GPS

Been wanting a new GPS unit for a while. Main reason want one that has a USB port instead of a RS-232 connection. I just bought a Garmin GPSMAP 60Cx. Below is a description of the unit.

The GPSMAP 60Cx is a refreshing upgrade of the GPSMAP 60C, one of our most popular models for outdoor and marine use. This unit features a removable microSD card for detailed mapping memory and a waterproof, rugged housing. The microSD card slot is located inside the waterproof battery compartment. Users can load map data and transfer routes and waypoints through the unit’s fast USB connection. In addition, this unit features a new, highly sensitive GPS receiver that acquires satellites faster and lets users track their location in challenging conditions, such as heavy foliage or deep canyons.

Considered the mainstay among serious outdoor enthusiasts, the GPSMAP 60Cx and GPSMAP 60CSx offer a large color TFT display and turn-by-turn routing capability. Each unit comes with a blank 64 MB microSD card. Owners of these new x-series handhelds can also purchase new microSD cards that are pre-loaded with MapSource® Topo and inland lake maps, BlueChart® marine cartography, and City Navigator™ street maps.

Workout

Today I went back to the gym for the first time in a while. I got out of the habit, and I have been planning on going back, but things always seemed to pop up that kept me from going. I plan to get back into my regular habit.

Forex

Today during David's and mines regular visit, we both beleive we came up with a strategy that will consistently make money. It is not much, but we both figure making a little money is better then making none. We are both going to do some more optimizing and small modifcations to see if we can get a little better results. David beleives in it so much, that he is either going to open a new account for MT4 or move over his MT3 account to MT4 at Interbank FX.

The Pretender

Just pre-ordered the Full Third Season of The Pretender from Amazon. Can't wait till I get it.

Here is a review from an Amazon user:

This show makes you think what would you do if you were isolated from the everyday things that people take for granted. Michael T. Weiss makes Jarod believable. His sweet innocence mixed with his look of revenge makes him a perfect pretender. For each episode it is written as a comic good triumphs over evil yet, for every episode Jarod is introduced to new mainstream objects and terms. Who would have thunk fruitcake and spam would be appreciated. Even with his naiveness he still has a heart for the one person who wants him back in the hell he was brought as a child.
Even if you have never heard of this show it is worth just getting the starter kit and just see how intriguing and amazing this show is. I'm quite saddened that the show ended but I'm ver thrilled that it came out on DVD! I have the first two seasons already and can't wait for the other two.
If you are looking for the answer of human behaviour then this show is for you!

Programming C++

I have not programmed it C++ for a while now. One of the projects I am currently working on I have to do a portion of it in C++. I am a little surpised in how much I forgot. I could not remember what to include to use cout. A little googling fixed that problem. It is all coming back to me. But it is surpising to me. I defently like C#.

Wrangler

Today I remembered to order myself a sound bar for my Wrangler. It will be nice to have sound in my Wrangler again. I plan to listen to music, obviously. I also plan to listen to the scriptures while going to work, if not more.

Interbank FX

Today Interbank FX gave a presentation on the retirement plan that Todd has provided for his employees. A lot of it went over my head. For now I did some basic settings, and I'll modify them as I learn more of all the details.

Utah4X

The Utah4X group I am member of, meet again today, we stopped meeting for a while for the holidays. For the most part we meet every Wed. It was a good meeting today. We are going to have to start meeting in a new location now, because we are starting to grow to much. The group may also start having some specialized sub groups to help newbies and to keep the pros interested.

Wrangler

Just won an auction on ebay for a Wrangler (YJ) Add-A-Trunk. The Add-A-Trunk will be great to have. I now have a place to lock items up. Right now I only have a soft top for my Wrangler, and it is pointless to try to lock it. But with this Add-A-Trunk I'll be able to lock items with or without any top. So I could have my top off, and still be able to keep some things locked.

School

Today was my first day in school. I had English today at 7:00 AM, ug. It went fine. Normally I will be going to the 24HourFitness after school before I go to work at Interbank FX, but today I forgot my gym stuff so I went straight to work. So I'll go later tonight.

Mom's Birthday

Sunday was my mom's Birthday. We did not do anything real special. I gave her a unique puzzle. It is a puzzle of a spherical globe. We spent about 5.5 hours together putting it together. There were about 550 plastic conical, round, pieces. Parts of putting the puzzle together was hard, especially at the end. We used a fork to get the last couple pieces in.

Life

I have not posted much during this week. Life has been very good this week, but at the same time very busy. I don't want to write everything down that happened this week, but know it was very good.

LoveSac

I have wanted a LoveSac for a while now. Was window shopping with a new good friend on Saturday, and I could not reseist buying a SuperSac. It is 4 feet by 6 feet. It took us an hour and a half to get it ready to use, well worth it.

Wrangler

Saturday morning I finally got me Wrangler back. It is now almost in perfect condition. It does need a new soft top because the driver rear window is ripped, but I am not worried much about that. I put some clear tape, like duct tape, on it to keep snow from coming in. Right now I want to buy two accessories for it. A Sound bar to have good speakers, and it will come with a dome light. And a Add-A-Trunk, so I can have a little area that can be locked at any time, even when I go topless.

Basket Ball Coach

Yesterday was my first day being the 7th Wards Basket Ball Coach for the Young Men. We won the game, by forfeit. We did play a game with a ward that wanted to just play, it did not count for or against us. I am not sure what I am doing but I will figure it out as I go. (Thou I have coached in the past and we went to regions, but that was a while back ago.) I did find someone in the 7th Ward who will help me out with the coaching when he can. And we went to state when he played in high school. My three main goals with working with the boys are doing practices, to have them work as a team so we have no "heroes", and have them work on little personal goals basic skill on their own and along with memorizing little helps or procedures I want them to follow.

Church

Today Bishop Harding, from my old 7th Ward, had one of his counselors ask me if I would coach the Young Men's Basket Ball Team. Apparently the Bishop asked the young men who they wanted to be their coach, and everyone from the old 5th ward said me, witch was the majority of the young men in the 7th ward. So here I am being their basket ball coach again. I am looking forward to it. It is going to make my schedule hard to do everything, but it will work out some how. Partly from when I coached them before, and that I was in the Young Men Leadership, and help them out with Scouts for years, I got the nickname Coach.
